First of all, thank you so much for being here!

My intention for this blog is to create a space where you can come to be inspired, entertained and feel welcomed into a community of like-minded individuals on a mission to create a life filled with epic bliss.

BLISS is beyond joy…

it certainly includes joy, but BLISS is beyond a momentary experience of a great laugh or seeing something that makes us smile. Bliss goes deeper than that; to me, bliss is a peaceful knowing that everything is working for our good and that we’re all connected.

I believe connection is the fundamental root of happiness.

We know for a fact that as a baby, if you’re not held- not just fed, changed, and allowed to sleep, but physically held- you’ll die. We need to be connected. It is literally hardwired into our DNA. Sometimes our egos get in the way and make us feel like we should ‘go it alone’, but at the end of the day, we need connection.

Taking a moment to light a candle is an opportunity to foster connection...

...with the outside world, and with ourselves. Sometimes, we hear “connection” and assume that means connecting with others and the outside world- which is, of course vital- but really, TRUE connection starts with connecting to the SELF.

Think about the actual act of lighting a candle…You go get a match, and in that moment you strike that match and hold it to that cotton wick, a flame presents itself- this beautiful light-filled representation of nature. Then shortly after, you’re inundated with a gorgeous fragrance that envelops your senses, and you’re doing that for NO OTHER REASON than pure pleasure. And THAT is why it’s a connection to self.
